ABOUT JOHN OEHLEY

John has over forty years experience in education as a Teacher, Career Counsellor, Dean, Academic Director, Deputy Principal and for the past thirteen years, Director of his own private career counselling business. His experience of representing his country at two Olympic Games has given him valuable insight into the importance of both a good education and balancing academic & sporting demands. His speciality area is in supporting young adults to successfully transition from school to tertiary/workplace training & into their first employment. John has had enormous success in helping clients win significant scholarships to Harvard University, Duke University, Cambridge & Oxford. He is highly experienced in NCEA, Cambridge, International Baccalaureate and other qualifications. He has advised tens of thousands of adults, young and old, in making informed career decisions and setting achievable goals.
